I built 1918 Vintage in March of 2008 after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in L.A. and had moved back to my hometown of Kansas City. 1918 was created when I was tired of bidding in auctions for the best vintage pieces. I thought it would be a fantastic idea to blend together great design, good friends and beautiful vintage with a touch of humor. I grabbed some of my best friends, made them model for me and put my finds from all over the world in one site. 1918 is built on a positive attitude and lots of encouragement from friends and family. I can't be thankful enough for the business I've received from Men and Women in over 18 countries. Please help keep the world beautiful and purchase once used vintage pieces. It's the green thing to do. But most of all, 1918 is about having fun and loving what we do. And isn't that what life is all about?
